Durst will launch the new Tau 330 at the upcoming drupa 2012 where the new press will be showcased first time.

The PrintCity Alliance has 28 world leading organisations participating in its drupa 2012 exhibition activities in Hall 6, from May 3-16. Under the headline Print: Seen! Lean & Green, the alliance is featuring four Hot Topic attractions to interest and inform visitors from around the world: Digital & Offset Printing – The Best of Both Worlds, Tune-Up Your Web Press – Extending Web Printing Performance, Value Added Printing & Packaging – Touch the Emotions and add new Functions, Lean & Green Opportunities – Improving Economic & Environmental Performance.

Printing blanket manufacturer ContiTech is presenting its highlights for large-format sheet-fed printing and metal printing at the drupa 2012 print media trade show (May 3-16 in Düsseldorf). These include the new printing blankets Conti-Air 7Plus and Conti-Air UV Plus.

At drupa Prati will demonstrate on the Nikka Research booth its Saturn Plus TE 330 label slitter inspection rewinder equipped with Nikka Alis L1C-330 camera 2012. This seamless integration of inspection and label finishing technologies underpins the high level cooperation between the two companies.

Ricohs presence at drupa 2012 is its biggest yet. Visitors to its stand will see its extensive portfolio of software and hardware, suitable for print service providers who are growing their business beyond print, or expanding into marketing and communications services. Mimaki is to present its latest Latex and solvent print solutions at drupa 2012. The company will also unveil its new high-gap UV-LED flatbed printer. Delegates visiting the stand will see the high-speed, high-quality JV400LX series, which uses environmentally friendly latex ink, including the world’s first white latex ink. Also on show will be the JV400SUV series, which combines the flexibility of solvent printing with the durability of UV-curing inks.

Variable coding, serialising, personalising and printing on different materials and formats in a wide range of applications will form the centrepiece of the drupa show stand from Atlantic Zeiser at drupa 2012. Along with Koenig & Bauer AG, the company will also be presenting a highly modern hybrid sheet printing and coding system, under the slogan 'Digital meets Offset' at the KBA stand. This means that Atlantic Zeiser will be showing system solutions and components extending far beyond traditional printing.

Highcon Systems Ltd has made a key appointment to its sales team with Nigel Tracey joining as International Sales Director from 2nd April 2012. Hall 1 at the Düsseldorf exhibition center still looks like many other exhibition halls. But this will all change in less than four weeks when five Hei-Tech print shops, representing successful business models, go into operation in the hall for 14 days. Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg), the world leader in the print media industry, is once again the largest exhibitor at drupa this year. The world's largest trade show for the printing and paper industry will run from May 3 through 16.
