Grafikontrol to introduce a new concept for global control of print production at drupa 2016

Grafikontrol, leader in manufacturing press controls for the graphic industry, will introduce the innovative platform TQC-360° at drupa 2016, Hall 15, Stand A11. With their Total Quality Control at 360° platform, Grafikontrol puts the emphasis on total quality and strives to present itself as a unique global partner covering every aspect of the business relationship with customers by offering products, applications, processes, services.

Grafikontrol delivers a range of products that work with any application in printing and post-printing. At the show, a number of quality control and register control systems will be on display for areas such as gravure (packaging and publishing), flexography and offset printing (packaging, commercial products and newspaper).

PRE-PRESS: the SYSTEME CHROMATIQUE colour management will be presented. It’s an innovative system that allows you to optimise images and PDF files, by improving print quality and reducing processing costs. The system integrates into any workflow, simplifying the process and increasing repeatability and productivity.

MATERIALS: becoming increasingly advanced in the quality control of neutral material such as paper or plastic films, Grafikontrol presents LYNEX, a 100% print inspection system for conversion and PM3, a quality control system for substrates, for publishing and newspapers with gravure and web-offset printing.

PRESS ROOM: press room applications are Grafikontrol’s core business, where it boasts thousands of installations all over the world. These applications include items installed on the press such as:
• CHROMALAB: a spectrophotometer that provides real time measurement and colour correction during production in gravure, flexography and digital printing
• COLORSCAN: an automatic and fast system for colour control of gravure and web-offset printing processes
• MATRIX: a sampling camera with motorised zoom for detail inspection and bar code verification
• LYNEX: a 100% print inspection system that uses the latest computer vision hardware and software
• PROGREX: a combination of the functions of MATRIX and LYNEX to form a complete tool, that helps the user with each control phase for gravure, flexographic and offset processes
• CR25-CR26: a register control system with MicroMarks, that allows for the reduction of register marks in very small spaces, thanks to high speed cameras
• CR33-CR34: a register control system for packaging rotogravure and flexographic presses that ensures register stability among colours for the entire production and reduces waste.

POST-PRESS: Grafikontrol will demonstrate the versatility of LYNEX for end of the line checking and for finishing control for printed materials.

Following the Grafikontrol TQC-360° approach, all data and information are classified and stored for each individual production stage, ensuring complete control. To accomplish this task, the PROCHECK system comes into play to encrypt the data within each production site and allows full traceability of waste or print defects.

“Grafikontrol systems are part of each print job, whether it’s gravure, offset or flexo printing, for converting and publishing applications. They are specially designed systems that ensure constant quality control of the product,” says Paolo De Grandis, sales director and business partner at Grafikontrol.

Grafikontrol has not only designed innovative and efficient systems, it has also developed a quality SERVICE offering consultancy, remote support, local service with specialised engineers, and supply of spare parts that can be shipped around the world quickly with a 15 year guarantee.

“With TQC-360°, Grafikontrol strives to be a partner you can trust to develop your business,” concludes Paolo De Grandis. “We have the pleasure of inviting all printers to visit us at drupa, Stand A11 - Hall 15 and personally test all our solutions.”
