For this year’s awards, Bobst Group Latinoamerica do Sul Ltda entered the Bobst Accubraille system for folder-gluers, which has revolutionized the application of Braille embossing to packaging. Quick and easy to set, Accubraille is fast, cost-effective, and delivers superb Braille dot definition over the whole length of the run. Accubraille has considerable advantages over traditional Braille embossing and means that getting Braille onto cartons has never been easier. After examination, the Accubraille system was chosen as Best of Year in the Machinery, Equipment, and Systems category.

Representatives of Bobst Group Latinoamerica do Sul Ltda were presented with the award at a ceremony which took place in Sao Paulo on April 15th, 2011, and which was attended by guests from throughout the packaging chain. Roberto Hiraishi says that the "Best of the Year" is a tribute from “Embanews” to companies that “excel in their activities, contributing to the evolution of Brazilian packaging”.

The Embanews Awards are the most highly regarded in the Brazilian packaging industry, recognizing the best in packaging manufacture and the most innovative packaging technologies. The awards involve an in-depth examination and testing of entries by a committee of 70 representatives from the professional organizations that support the Embanews Awards.
